Annabel is a Water Engineer based in Sydney currently working for engineering consulting firm Arup.
Having studied both an Environmental Engineering (Hons 1) and Commerce degree, Annabel is passionate about the role water plays in creating sustainable, equitable and liveable regions for future generations within a more water scarce and climate impacted environment. This has informed her involvement in various industry and company committees including the Australia Water Association (AWA) NSW Young Water Professionals Committee, International Water Association Australian (IWAA) Young Water Professionals Committee and Co-Chair of the NSW/ACT Arup Emerging Professionals Committee.
Prior to entering the consulting world and whilst finishing her studies, Annabel worked at Randwick City Council in both engineering and operations roles which encompassed floodplain management and hydrological studies, managing capital works and renewals programs and managing asset restoration works.
